Dulee Named Best Player
The stylish and magnificent young Africa midfielder, Dulee Johnson, has made it again as the 2007 AIK Best Player of the Year.
The Liberia international continues to soar high after being named among the 11 top players in Sweden just after the 2006/7 league.
This was announced at an impressive ceremony of AIK Players and management to award best deserving players at the end of the league season.
Dulee was given a trophy.
"This is a dream come true. I just can’t imagine myself getting all these laurels even though we dropped from second position last season to the fifth this year. It pays to be hardworking. Getting a trophy from AIK is a big dream come true."
"I'm too happy to say a word."
Speaking to his online team, D.J paid glowing tribute to his team mates and trainers for the impact they have played throughout his career with AIK.
"I must admit that my colleagues at AIK have played a pivotal role in my career. I have good trainers over here and they have really been very supportive in everything that we do," he said.
Dulee was very instrumental for AIK during the last league and most of his moves led to greater chances for AIK to score.
"I had my good and bad times during the season. But I maintained my focus in order to be in my top form for my team. It’s all over and looking back I think our team spirit and efforts paid off."
He said: "I can’t stop praising God for the good health He has given me up to this point. I pray and hope He continues to guide me throughout my career to give my family the support that they need. Also, my appreciation goes to my family, fans and people back home for their prayers and cheers. Without you there is no Dulee. I love you all."
