Dulee scores, hopes to win a cup

Dulee Johnson is upbeat about AIK’s qualification into the finals of the Swedish Cup (Svenska Cupen) over the weekend. His side surprised his former club Hacken with a 3-2 extra time win to put smiles on the faces of the fans. The Liberia international’s 120th minute extra-time penalty blast rocked the stadium and added more to his newly improved performance.
Johnson said it was a great moment for him as AIK is inches close to grabbing a cup. He said: “It was so nice we won to move a step further in this tough competition. I hope we make it in the finals. Winning a cup for the first time with AIK and in Sweden will be great in my football career. I really want to see the club there and with focus and determination we’ll make it.”
He added: “We should maintain our team spirit and focus. I am very hopeful we can make it in this competition and the league as well. This is the time we need to press on to make our fans feel better.”
