Dulee Consoles Ambrose Wreh Family

AIK midfield ace Dulee Johnson sends a message of condolence to the fans and family of Liberian football star Ambrose Wreh who passed away on Sunday while playing in a pre-season encounter in Monrovia.
“I read the news with shock. It is a painful moment in Liberian football and I share in the sorrow of his fans and family. It is a great loss to our country and we must all rally behind the family as they mourn the death of their beloved.
“It is painful that the beautiful game brought sorrow. We all know how football has united Liberians and this is the time to remain united with the game. I will also take this opportunity to call on the football authorities to make medical facilities available all the time to avoid such avoidable incidents in the future.”
According to Goal.com, Wreh, who originally played for Premier League club Gedi & Sons, was featuring for his former club Invincible Eleven when he collapsed on the pitch and died on the way to the John F. Kennedy memorial hospital on Sunday.
He played less than 10 minutes after coming on as a substitute in a friendly match at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.
